Bring bread to feed the ducks/geese and even peanuts for squirrels! The flower garden is beautiful, lots of weddings happen there. My daughter loves the play ground. I love... More

Gibson Park is a really nice place to relax, especially in the summer. Lots of shade from the mature trees. The flower gardens bloom from early spring until a heavy frost. You'll see wedding parties taking advantage of the beautiful background. In the summer the city band as well as other musical talent entertain every Wednesday night. The Lewis and... More

Love going down here watching the swans, ducks, geese, & sea gulls, having ice cream. You can walk around the fountained pond, the lawned front part, or sit in your vehicle & just watch or walk under the rail way tunnel to the horse shoe pits , or watch or participate @ the skate board park. Also on that side... More

There is really nothing to do here unless you like feeding ducks and have children that can play on the toys or just like to walk

Centrally located, Gibson Park is quite an expansive area which includes playground equipment, picnicking areas, a duck and geese pond, and other recreational activities. The duck pond is a local favorite especially when you bring an offering of bread or whatever for the inhabitants. You will find many flocks who will flock to you if you have food. Ducks, geese,... My wife walks in the Park-Everyday-I join her a couple times a month. I am so disappointed by the filth-mainly on the East side of the Park. It is absolutely pathetic. I wouldn't expose my Grandson to this area. There are geese and geese dropping all over the place, and then you can look forward to seagulls (?) I am... More

Conveniently located large park with something for everyone. Places to hang out in the shade, watch the birds on the pond, check out the beautiful flower gardens, and utilize the walking paths for exercise.
