This is a nice walking, running, jogging or bicycle trail along the Missouri River and you can walk for miles on the trail. Very attractive scenery and you can fish in several places if you want to on the river. A nice place to walk your dogs also.

Like benchs along river to sit and view the area. Always something special to see along with lots of geese to greet you. A must stroll and take the time to visit the trail

Awful potholed road getting there and a big disappointment on arrival. I cannot recommend wasting gas visiting this place.

The system includes over 25 miles of paved urban trail with numerous trailheads accessible via city streets, in addition to the 30+ miles of rural hiking and single track mountain bike trails. I am not quite certain which section,if any, of the River's Edge Trail is referred to here. More

Without a doubt, the River's Edge trail is the best of it's kind in the state, affording beautiful scenery, historical information, and a lot of miles to explore. With it being on both sides of the Missouri River and several bridges to get from one side to the other, it is a great recreational attraction. The Lewis and Clark Interpretive... More

Our family visits here once a week. Feed the trout for a nickle, walk through the well maintained park. Gaze at the massive rainbow trout, and look at one of the most beautiful springs in the lower 48. No complaints. Fairly quiet too as not enough folks have discovered this gem.

Great trail! It runs the length of Great Falls and then beyond too, so a nice variety of scenery to match whatever mood you're in.

I took a walk along this trail for about an hour and enjoyed the walk. The river is very scenic and offers several opportunities to view wildlife and a beautiful shoreline. This trail is great for walking and biking. This is a must see in Great Falls.

The area of this trail that we walked--which we accessed from the Lewis and Clark Center--was magnificent. The Missouri River was always in view, and of course the history of the river, and Lewis & Clark, adds to the experience.

We enjoy walking (also a great bike trail) the River's Edge Trial on our visits to Great Falls. Extending over 40 miles along both sides of the Missouri River, and linking a number of smaller parks, this trail provides nice views of the river gorge and all the hydro-electric dams, reservoirs and waterfalls along the Missouri.

Family Fun and Free - Walk, Hike or Bike. Worth the trip on a sunny day. We go at least once a month as a family and I find that its relaxing and more beautiful each time we go
