Pleasant Little Tour for Local History

The gardens are lovely to walk through and the tour gives a nice bit of local history. The mansion is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Amazing historical home replete with ghost stories and a few bumps in the night if you do the Halloween tour. Knowledgeable docents. If you are a history buff this is a must see in Kalispell.

Beautiful house, hohum ghost stories, tour guides not helpful with questions. Got the impression that they just wanted you to come back and pay more to get questions answered.

Thank you for taking time to review your visit. Due to the time constraints on the ghost tours, with a new tour starting every 15 minutes, the guides are not able to take time to answer questions. They would like to, as they love talking about the history and the Mansion; however, it causes a chain reaction and backs up... More

If you like to see an old house in good condition, you should go. The place is OK and not all the stuff are original. It is a little bid out of the way. So, if you are short of time, you can pass this one. Also part of the place was gone or in private hand which make me... More

Thank you for taking time to review your visit. The Conrad Mansion Museum was completed in 1895 for Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Conrad and had remained in the Conrad family until 1974 when Alicia Conrad, the youngest daughter, donated the home to the city of Kalispell. Over 90% of the items in the Mansion did originally belong to the... More

I have toured many mansions, by far, this place is not staged. Cindy, our guide, was informative, answering every question with passion. One could tell she has quite a connection to the Conrad Mansion. The grounds are well maintained. The interior exudes the craftsmanship of bygone days. The history of the family is interesting and the stories shout of Mr.... More

We have toured many "mansions" and plantations throughout the US. This tour was the most fascinating, educational, and thorough of them all. Our tour guide gave us plenty of time to see, admire and absorb all the many features of this exceptional home. We will remember this wonderful experience for a very long time. Take the time to see for... More

We went here only because we had extra time after visiting Glacier National Park, and it was totally amazing. We are thrilled that we had the time. The granddaughter of the original owner was a hoarder, and it really paid off because they have the most amazing assortment of original furniture, appliances, receipts, notes, etc. The staff know what things... Cindy is one of the best tour guides we've ever had. This is a beautiful home. A very livable feeling. There are stairs to climb and we recommend the first tour our group was only 7 people the one after us was over 20. You can't take pictures inside but they have a good book to purchase in their gift... More

A beautiful, well maintained historic home. Well worth the time to go for the tour of the house. The gardens were lovely, and amazing that the house has so many original furnishings, as well as so many interesting touches far ahead of the time it was built.

This was a wonderful experience! It's amazing that 90% of the furniture is original thanks to their daughter Alicia. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
