I went a few years ago with a large group of linemen and we all enjoyed seeing the displays. The educational information concerning the RMEF was very enjoyable and entertaining.

There were so many interesting things to learn about and look at, at the RMEF! We went for a school field trip and enjoyed it so much that we went back a few days later for a free kids workshop on survival... both times we were there the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable...

Our grandkids so enjoy visiting the Rocky Mountain Elk foundation. They love the full sized animals and the real life sounds the animals make to communicate. This has been a great tourist visiting place in Missoula. Always run into foreign visitors when we are there. Have fun in Missoula, Judy Helm Wright--Author/Blogger & Intuitive Wise Woman

I loved this exhibit hall. While its not huge or expansive its a nice short rest stop of a visit. Great little gift shop and an ongoing video room where you can rest while the kids touch & feel the exhibits.

We were told about the foundation from a local business owner. Great displays of wildlife. Very educational. Has several Elk displays and the region of the west they came from. Very educational.

Loved the displays and the educational information, plus added electronically shared info. Maps and animal displays were the best we have seen. Lots of parking plus walking trails to enjoy as well. Family orientated too.

This is great foundation that supports elk and other wildlife and their habitats. This particular facility has a nice exhibit of habitat preservation, trophy animal mounts, and a theater to view informative documentaries about RMEF.

My family have been here several times and we always learn something more each time. The Foundation is trying to assist other parts of the country strengthen elk population as well. The facility itself is spacious, clean with displays and a theater running an educational video. The staff there are knowledgable about events and issues relating to elk. It would... More
