Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This waterfall is bigger then Bigar waterfall and depend of the water quantity I believe is more beautiful. Also the trail is extraordinary...it is a very nice trip to this waterfall ...about 1 hour of hiking from the last parking place.

A map of the trail to cascada Beunista is available on a wall at the corner of Sasca Romana road, in Sasca Montana.
Leads from the northern part of Sasca Romana, via the tunnels to podul bei then via a gravel road(some cars) to the camping/restaurant/trou farm Valeu bei. The trail continue after the trout farm to Beunista. Very dry in September 2019.
Well marked, you can come back from podul bei to S. Romana via another trail indicated on the map and well marked too

From the photos, it looks very beautiful. But when we were there, because of the droughty weather, it went dry, so we just saw where the waterfall used to be. Probably if you visit it in the autumn or especially in the spring, you will see it with water.
However, we explored the inside of it - we went into a cave and it was nice. You can also climb on it!
To get here, follow the road to Ochiul Beiului Lake and then walk 15-20 more minutes. You can either leave you car at Podul Bei (which I would recommend) and walk ~2.5 hours or park at the Valea Bei trout restaurant and walk ~1 hour and 10 minutes to the Beușnița Waterfall

This waterfall is great - if there is enough water. Otherwise it looses part of its charm, having just a few drops here and there.
One great thing is you can get very close to it - like literally go and touch it, and play with the water, without really entering in the water, or getting soaking wet.

Amazing waterfall. The trip to this location is accessible to all ages people. You must go on top of the waterfall and walk along the river for another 15 minutes to see the second waterfall (smaller and not so spectacular.)

This waterfall is formed on calcareous tufa and it is breathtaking during winter and spring. During dry season it is also interesting to observe how it was formed, but it is dry since it is located into a karst area. I consider that it is great to visit this waterfall even during dry seasons.
