Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This church is obscured by trees and easily missed.
Entrance is via two old wooden doors between which is a porch. The internal walls are cream and the church did not suffer the vandalism of a complete makeover in Victorian times. Yes, some parts were rebuilt, or built i.e. the vestry and the west porch, but the interior gives one the chance to revisit the mid-Victorian era as much furniture remains from this era.
There are four columns of wooden box pews, numerous war memorial plaques and thankfully no Victorian tiles on the floor. There are also a few candelabras adjoining some of the wooden box pews.
Most of the windows are of clear glass, so light streams into the building and there is a 20-page A5-size pamphlet for sale about the history of the church.
In short, this church is quiet, airy, large and largely untouched. It is most certainly worth a visit.
