With small children, the nature nook was a great place for them to roam and explore. Plus, the room is small and contained. We also loved the interactive dime store in the cool-aid exhibit. This is a half day affair.

World War II armaments, the home of Kool-Aid, civil War history in the migration of the sandhill crane all the weight you if you experience all three floors of this museum. There is also a planetarium video and an IMAX theater. I love the exhibits of the really old cars and carriages. Americana at its finest.

My family and I recently visited this museum. Given the size of the town its located in I was surprised at how much was inside. Most of the displays were old but the kids found it interesting enough and the Kool-aid history was very cool.

If you love taxidermy, rocks, gems and fossils, and Kool Aid this is your museum. My kids enjoyed the museum, but give yourself plenty of time. So much to see and so many great pictures to take..Oh yeah!

The museum in this small town is deceiving, didn't look very big from the outside but they have it packed full! Great for any interest, cars, guns, animals, rocks, Indians and settlers, nature lovers. It has a kids center along with a library and they do free movies in the planetarium throughout the day. Make sure to plan enough time... More

We live in Hastings and love going to the museum. It is a great value $8 for an adult and $6 for kids and it has a lot to see. Their newest exhibit the nature nook is perfect for the kids. They love running through the tunnels and popping up in the bubbles! We will come again and again.
