Our third gold weekend away and our third time golfing at Walmer. A very welcoming course with fantastic views and challenging holes. Enjoyed it in the summer and even more in the winter with the winds adding to the "fun".

This course is right by the sea and the views of sea and landscape are breathtaking. The course was in excellent condition. We had dinner afterwards, for twenty hungry golfers. It was home cooked food and it was very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.

An excellent golf course with views over the channel. The course is in great condition and a credit to the ground staff. The first is quite straightforward, up a slope which also runs to the left, on the right coming back down is the eighteenth, when the wind is blowing it adds a shot or two to some holes while... Play this with my friend whose a member. Greens are kept well, rough can be a bit difficult in the summer as its left to grow. Fairways ok but do tend to slope to which ever side the of the hill it lines. Enjoy.

It was a very difficult course because it has lots of hills to it, if you hita good ball it just rolls down the fairway and gets lost in the rough. The golf course was moderately kept, and some greens were in bad condition. It was 45 pounds for a weekend green fee, even their own members were shocked we... More

This course tends to get overlooked compared to it's famous links neighbours at Sandwich and Deal. This however is not a links but is in fact a clifftop seaside course built on fast draining chalk, invaribly windy and great views over the channel. The rough is not overly punitive, but with the other problems mainly the wind it dosen't need... More

This course is a great place to play whatever the weather, although usually it is windy. As it is on chalk it drains very quickly and is used all year round Small but friendly pro shop with 2 good pros, reasonable price and friendly members This time of year greens are being cored and sanded so they are not as fast as usual...
