I have been here a couple times. The beauty changes through spring, summer and fall. The hardscaping.... brickwork, trellises, statues, fountains, etc. make this an interesting and beautiful place to visit in the wintertime.

The area of the garden is small but the impact is large! The garden is amazing. I talked to a volunteer who advised the theme and colors are changed each year. Just an amazing garden worth a stop.

With a different theme each year, the 1 1/2 acre lot developed in 1930 and renovated in 2004 is a must see if your in the Lincoln or Omaha area. There are over 30,000 individual annual plants. 2018 is almost over, so you do not...More

Lincoln’s Sunken Gardens is small—about a square city block—but in my estimation on par with Butchard Gardens in Victoria—on a much much smaller scale. It is the restoration of an old gravel pit so when you are in the gardens the rest of the city...More

We are so happy we did not pass this up and found time to enjoy the beauty of this garden. So many butterflies, I was in heaven with all the many flowers, butterflies flying around, a dragonfly, and I saw a hummingbird, a true delight...More

Checked this place out on our recent visit to Lincoln. The gardens are well maintained and flower arrangement are well done. Accross the road is a Rose Garden. Worth a visit and not to be missed.

We’ve visited several times and are always impressed with all of the hard work that is clearly put into each season’s designs. Great place for families, couples, anyone. You can spend as little as 15 min or several hours, walking the different levels, sitting on...More

I'm a big fan of botanical gardens and arboretums and so I had to check this place out. I couldn't stay as long as I wanted since it was raining but I was still impressed. It was colorful, clean, and I really liked the koi!

The end of May is just fine. The gardens are planted so that there are different plants blooming all season. It's really lovely at night too.
