Fort Cody Trading Post is right off of I-80 and provides a really interesting rest stop. An intricate, and lovingly maintained, miniature electro-mechanical setup showing different stages of westward expansion plays at least once an hour. The 'gifts' are perhaps pricier than elsewhere, but not...More

We appreciate your review and thank you for the 4 stars! "Buffalo Bill's Miniature Wild West" plays every 30 minutes and is a tribute to Col. Cody's legendary rodeo. We however don't have water fountains, but do have clean rest rooms! Thanks again for stopping!

We stopped to get some souvenirs for the grand boys and weren’t disappointed. They had tons of weird trinkets and items to purchase. The outside exhibit was closed, but it looked pretty cool. The ladies working were friendly and fun to talk to.

We couldn't miss the Fort Cody Trading Post. It is huge! There were wagons near the fort. However, this is a place where they sell things, especially souvenirs. However, they had some historical content as well. They showed how the Indians were dressed. They showed...More

Very expensive crap. Even if you wanted a little memento if would cost you. We looked around and then left.

My hotel was right next door, but I would happily have driven across town to visit here. Ok - it’s a shop, but it’s so much more. It has numerous Wild West themed objects scattered around it, and it’s built in the shape of a...More

There are many artifacts and historical items in this store. There are many nick knacks to purchase. It was interesting to walk around and see the various items. There is a motorized miniature diorama that's really quite good. worth spending an hour there.

I thought your trading post was great. I’ve seen these same types of things since I was a little kid when my parents took me on vacations, although mostly through the southwest United States. Some of the display items are products of a bygone era,...More

I'm glad we took you "back in time"! Good idea on an animated train for Buffalo Bill's Wild West in Miniature. Something to think about!

No reason not to stop. It is right at the intersection of 80/83. Multiple fast food, gas stations, hotels, and restaurants in immediate area. The shop part is standard tourist fare but the Buffalo Bill display in the back is worth a few minutes of...More

I'm glad you enjoyed Buffalo Bill's Wild West in Miniature! It's truly incredible to think it took 12 years to complete!

A fun place to buy all your Nebraska and western gifts. They have just about everything you need on your wish list. Don't forget to stop by the stockyard out back to see a log cabin, teepee, and giant Native American!
