It is not kept up and most is deteriorating in the desert heat. Not on a paved road and watch for the usual desert critters. But it is a point of interest.

Follow the signs out into the desert. It doesn’t look like you will find it but it there. Worth a look when you leave Rhyolite. Graves are primitive and have lost the names. A few have stone markers.

Look for the Cemetery sign. You will have to drive down a dirt road. The road looks endless but you will see the cemetery on your left long before the road ends. This was a small mining town in its day. There is one large...More

If visiting Rhyolite Ghost Town you should not miss this cemetery. If only gravestones could talk and tell you more than the epitaph. Some gravestones still appear to be tended and one can only assume that there are some Rhyolite descendants in the area.

This place is cool, lots of old graves, not too many with stones. We found one of a lady that was 105 when she passed. If you visit, please respect the graves and the grounds!!

You have to go down a dirt road to access the place. There are a lot of old wooden tombstones and some graves marked with twigs and rocks. This place would be spooky at night!

This was my first cemetery experience and was not impressed. Difficult to find. Luckily, I saw another car turning down a bumpy dirt road and I followed them. The graves were poorly marked. I was hoping for more of a history lesson opportunity.
