See my review of Sand Harbor. This is a beautiful state park with lots to do. One of the best attractions in the area. Get there early, though. It cost $12 a car to get in.

Picnicked here while staying in Sparks, NV. About a hour drive from Reno. Some of the most beautiful lake and forest scenery you will ever see. Picnicking with the Tamil here is a no brainer.

Great place to visit in the area. Lots of things to do and the lake is very pretty. Can kill a day and it is not expensive at all.

The trip up in the gondolas $50 per person is well worth a family entire day. The views on the way up and park way at the top was amazing. There is enough to do to stay all day

We got here in the early afternoon on a hot day, so parking was scarce. Beach access was difficult, but Lake Tahoe is a beautiful site.

We've been to Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park Numerous times. I love the views of the lake from the Nevada side of the lake. We've done some fishing. We've also done some hiking. Its a gorgeous place to be.

I really don't know, sorry. I am sure that if you called some of the equipment rental companies near where you are staying, they would let you know.
