Great place for a drink and food.

We stumbled on this place before going to see Sarah Mcglocklin, at the Encore theatre. I just wanted a beer, so we sat down and ordered a beer and the bartender showed us a menu for food, my spouse was hungry and got a bowl of Tom kha that was out of this world. I do well in Thai cooking and this beat mine. The food comes from Andres, right there to the side. The menu was fantastic looking. There was another couple, locals like us that were also eating. We had planned to go back after the show and eat there, but the show ran late and the bartender told us 10:30 was the latest he could put an order into the kitchen. I will go back. The Bartender was excellent and so nice. They have this ice band that goes down the bar for you to set your drink on and keep it cold, I thought it was styrofoam. I do not see why this place gets 3 stars. I will definitely go back when I am at the Wynn/ Encore theatre.

Been here multiple times.... Never again!
Dec 2017 • Friends
I frequent the Encore Players Lounge every time I’m in Vegas and it’s always been my “Go To” spot.... until now. My friend’s and I enjoyed a view drinks while watching some football... went to close out our tab with cash and split between 2 credit cards. Simple transaction I would expect..... 15 minutes into the closing of the check, the nice sever, Prince, said a Manager had to be called. I asked if while we continue to wait, if me and my two friends could have a small aperitif cocktail while we wait, bartenders choice. Prince called the other bartender over to ask and the Manager they called, Michael, showed up and went directly to the Micros terminal to help close out our transaction. While watching the 2 bartenders and the manager figure out our to close out our transaction for another 10 more minutes, I asked the Manager, for our now 20 minutes wait at the bar to close out, for a small aperitif cocktail for our wait, of his choice, and he told me, “Sorry. I’m not authorized to do that.” As a Manager of a place of Encore and Wynn in Las Vegas, you SHOULD be authorized to make decisions to make problems or corrections right for your guests. Had the simple gesture of honoring my small request been honored, this Trip Advisor and negative review would have never been written, and I would have continued recommending this specific bar to friends and colleagues. Never again.

A nice way to gamble and hang out.

Unlike most casinos with no place to sit other than at a gaming table or slot machine, the Players Lounge offers space to sit and socialize with your friends or to just take a break. That allows people who don't gamble to join the gamblers and everyone enjoys their visit. Plus, the dealers at the Players Lounge seem to be picked to be extra friendly and inviting.

Bad Service
May 2017
After a great dinner at Sinatra, we sat at the Encore's Players Bar for a night cap. After waiting 5 minutes, the bartender asked us for our order. As my client placed his order and I began to place order, the bartender (who I will not name to spare his job) suddenly left us mid-order to go to the end of the bar and say "hi" to his buddies who were walking by. After exchanging his pleasantries with his friends, he returned to finish taking our order. Very unprofessional and service not befitting Wynn and the reputation Mr. Wynn worked so hard to achieve. The purpose of this review is to draw management's attention to the fact that service is slipping and efforts should be made to bring it back up to where it used to be. This review is honest, however you don't have to take my word. Simply send in a friend or relative to try the Wynn/Encore bars and see how fast it takes them to get served and the quality of service. I have reviewed Parasol Down, Parasol Up, and the Encore Players Bar and the experience in all 3 bars was consistently poor on 2 different days. This is indicative of a problem that should be looked into by management.

We got there during the basketball games and we decided to sit outside on the couches however the waitstaff was so flustered and the service was so poor we had to keep going inside to finally get service on the outside even after talking to multiple supervisors the service truly was never one that you would expect from this hotel overall very poor service they really miss the mark on this one but the place was very nice and the drinks were great have the Sinatra smash

We had a reservation to watch the games they gave our table away..I understand that things happen but the guy running the room didn't care at all. In fact, he was downright rude. I have been to Wynn many times never had a problem but won't be back to the player lounge...we went to the eastside lounge it was awesome!

How Vegas does March Madness
Mar 2016 • Friends
An interesting foray for the Wynn. Trying to figure out how to reach the younger generations with decent amounts of disposable income but not satisfied with the sports book experience. The Encore Players Club creates a "hang" in the middle of the casino floor. The price is fairly expensive (but flexible depending on timing as typical for Vegas) but they do create a more comfortable scene. Besides large TV's and dedicated servers, a complimentary pair of shuffleboard tables saw steady interest. Somewhat surprisingly the billiards table received much less traffic. The dedicated gaming tables were also a welcome addition. The minimums were kept reasonable at all but the baccarat (which saw no action at all). The craps table kept up a good energy and the blackjack was much more accessible than typical tables that can be off-putting (much older crowd, grim-faced, and in for the long hall). Extra bonus for the people watching going to-from the beach club. Not a lot of cross over interest for the Madness but can see it getting some on a typical weekend.
