A great place to walk and see all that is going on. From the canopy to the old casinos like the Golden Nugget

Honestly this is not what I expected. I knew it would be a party vibe but I still found it disappinting. You could call it sensory overload almost with all of the flashing lights and loud music. I was a shocked to see kids here, especially some of the younger ones. This is not a place I would recommend for... More

Love the vibe of this area! A great mix of old Vegas with a young crowd. Much more enjoyable than the Strip, affordable food and tons happening within a few blocks.

I found Fremont street experience to be good. The different live acts that were on every night were good. Bars very expensive but shops had off licence where you could buy alcohol for cheap. Only bad thing was there is many homeless people begging for money.

Being a New Yorker I didn't think anything could shock me. This place left me speechless. I guess it's what old Vegas is all about, but the homeless, mentally unstable people of Vegas make this place their hang. It was definitely an experience to be had, but not one I think I'll go back for again.

I have fun every time I visit Fremont Street. It's definitely a different vibe from the strip. Gambling is a lot cheaper DT and a good places for beginners to start. Definitely check out the outdoor light show and free concerts in the evenings. There is also a zip line down Fremont Street for those who are adventurous. I will... More

This is about as Vegas as it gets, the old section revamped to provide a spectacular video show, a zip line and the oddest people you will ever see outside of an asylum. It is Vegas at its best. The best part is it is mostly free which after a few days in town is a good thing.

We were staying on the strip and caught the local bus down to Fremont street which dropped outside the golden nugget. This is a must when in Vegas and also at night. It's full of characters fantastic light shows this is how you imagine Vegas to be like. be prepared for the wow factor

I wish we would have had a tour and heard the history of the area before we made our visit. If visiting with children you will probably want to go a bit away from the main strip. Quite a few interestingly clad folks.
