Easy drive from Las Vegas. Stop at the visters Center first. They have a nice selection of gifts and information about the area. This is a one way scenic drive ( 12 miles) which is nice because you can take your time and if you...More

A small group (8 people) one day tour with dessert tours.com Best thing I did! Our guide Jack was entertaining and knew so much of the history of the area. Made great stops with plenty of time to check the area out and photo opportunities!...More

Having visited the the visitor centre I was very impressed and wished we'd had time for the "drive tour". I will be rectifying this in September when we return. Spectacular views.

Good hiking and excellent vistas. Only issue is that the main road and all the parking can be very crowded.

Visual history that should be appreciated in person. Not far from Vegas proper. Can ride through for a day fee of $15 or come prepared and early (water, appropriate dress, shoes, sunscreen) for a step out onto various trails and stops. Photo ops galore.

Over the years we've enjoyed Red Rock Canyon many ways. However, being gone for 15 yrs, we were happy to see improved signage, rock formation explanations, and frequent parking areas to view the magnificent views. The signs are informative and really enhance the visit there.

Such a magnificent place. Serene and peaceful, but fills you full of energy at the same time. Unbelievable beauty that nature has to offer, so close to the lights and sounds of the wild nightlife in Vegas. A great get-away for the day.

We love red rock. The density of the Red mountains is so captivating and the connection with nature is so palpable . We love this spot. Walks can be short or long depending on the weather . Water must me a must!! Have fun.

Half hour drive from Vegas strip and SO WORTH IT! The scenery is out of this world. We did the Red E Bikes tour and loved it! Bring your camera as the shots will be amazing!

You would have to go any of the off the beaten path trails where most people are not. The crowds at certain locations would scare away most wildlife.

Yes, but for optimal grip, I’d go for hiking shoes! Worth the investment for the safety and comfort
