Lots of sharks - small but great for kids

It gets busy and you walk round in a chain, but the sharks are impressive! A very small tunnel, but this does add to the attraction

The glass tunnel and large tank at the end of the reef was fabulous as all of a sudden we had sharks and turtles swimming above, below and around us - they came so close, yet with the glass observation tunnel, we could observe them in complete safety. The petting pool with horsehoe crabs and rays was a marvelous idea... More

It was a great experience to escape from general Las Vegas atmosphere. It was smaller then I expected but still worth visiting. It's always amazing to see the sharks swimming.

Went with wife and two young children. Was only reason we visited Mandalay Bay as we had decided to catch the free monorail which runs between Luxor, Excalibur and M.B. The sharks are at the end of a long trek through the casino and the queue for tickets was a long one, there is a food court and simple gift... More

The tank was huge and was full of sharks and other fish. The exhibit also had snakes, turtles, jelly fish, etc. A little pricey but good place to go, especially with family.

I don't think there's anything to dislike about this place! The premise of a predator based aquatic display is unique in the United States and the design of the aquarium maximizes your ability to view the sharks. The Shark Reef features traditional aquariums that you view from the sides, as well as multiple tunnels where the aquarium is all around... More

All indoors so good for a hot day. It is small so there is not a lot of time you will dedicate to it. It's a bit overpriced, but what isn't in Las Vegas. There are a number of animals in addition to the aquariums: an alligator, Komodo dragon, turtles, some snakes. There is a nice touch tank of rays.... More

My family enjoyed our visit to the Aquarium. The price seems a bit high, but it's certainly competitive with other Aquariums you may visit. Our favourite area was this one room that looks like you're in a sunken ship. It's all wood planks, with gaps in the walls, floor and ceiling through which you see the sharks swimming all around... Yes, it is a giant aquarium with sharks. There are also other smaller ones with various sea life. I just didn't get wowed by anything in there. I was lucky I got a two for one ticket. So at $9 a person, it was alright. Just dont expect to be amazed. It is also a loooooooooong walk from the casino... More

My wife and I walked from The Venetian down to Excalibur where we hopped on a tram and coasted into Mandalay Bay. From there we walked all the way across Mandalay Bay to find the Shark Reef. Needless to say, I was tired of walking at this point. Luckily, this was a quick walk through that didn't take too long.... More
