Play where Tiger Woods won his first tournament, and the "RAT PACK" played and entertained. When you play golf at Las Vegas National Golf Club, you will forget you are in the desert. This exquisite championship golf course, conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, is the former host of the PGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions, Sahara Invitational and the Las Vegas Invitational. Classic in design, this course combines rolling fairways, glistening lakes and greens well protected by palm, pine and olive trees. Just after completion in 1961, The National, then called the Stardust Country Club, hosted its first professional golf event, the LPGA Championship. From that date forward history was made. The layout, designed by Bert Stamps, is traditional and is a challenge for the best of players. The National has become a landmark over the last 50 years. It was host to the movie “Casino”, starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci.

I played LVN on November 2nd, and the fall rye overseed was complete, although not fully grown in. Joining a couple and another single, we wound our way around LVN and had a great golf experience. This is an old school design, fair but challenging. Greens and traps were in good shape, and It was apparent that the Superintendent knows... More

Needed a convenient spot for a foursome during a recent weekend trip to LV. Enjoyed great hospitality by the staff from the moment we arrived through the 19th hole. Course was challenging at times and a great round.

Considering it was overseed season, this course was pristine! Fun & great course! Not too far from the strip.

I bet I played this course 20 times throughout the years. Almost never disappointed. Hard to believe how NE Golf Course can be in such great shape during these crazy heat waves. Very highly recommended friendly staff golfnow.com and teetimes.com always have great deals I would play here every time I come to Vegas

My husband and I played 18 holes today at this great course. The staff was fabulous and very accommodating. The course is older...in fact, it was the golf course frequented by the Rat Pack back in the day, but it made for a fun day of golf. The older houses that line the course hold some fun history, and there... More

Old course with history. Tiger's first victory was here in 1996. The pro shop and the clubhouse is super old, but the service was great. Went out in a Golf Now deal and since it was blazing hot, let let us go out right away. Course is mature and super challenging. You can imagine the holes being set up for... More

the old girl was in great shape the first week of august, ate breakfast in the bar and the food was great. Everyone here is super nice and goes out of their way to make you feel like its your home course

Sadly this old girl has seen better days. The course it self was in rough shape. The houses surrounding it, are in worse shape for the most part. The stream running through it was full of debris, discarded clothing, bedding and living utensils left from homeless that had gotten trapped up in a flash flood. Pretty disgusting actually.

My husband and I played this pretty course just a few miles from the strip and the downtown area. Had a nice lunch at the club house. The course has signs describing the famous and infamous people that have lived in the houses on the course. Fairways were in good condition and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
