The service and quality of choices were excellent, however, just like everything else in Vegas, way overpriced. (I will admit that I was in sticker shock my entire trip to Vegas, even though I am an avid Disney traveler and am accustom to their exorbitant pricing). There was 1 glass of wine under $20 and everything else was over. You... More

Delicious food from Voodoo Steakhouse was served. A bit too much actually - there were seafood plates "family style" as a starter with King pawns, lobster tail and oysters. As a main course very nice and well cocked rib eye steak, but with 20oz /almost 600 gram too much for almost everybody. As a dessert there was also served a... More

When in Vegas this is a place to visit for wine lovers. A great selection of wine flights with meat and cheese. Staff were very good even showing us around a "locked" room were you need a second mortgage to buy some of the wines stored. Even if you go just to look around it hard to believe you are... More

I never expected to find such a collection in the Rio. Hung collects the wine and has an incredible portfolio of wines both California and French. You can get incredible wines from $35 a bottle up to $95,000. Come here, try the wines.

We came her the first night after a disastrous meal at another resturant. We had a glass of Port and talked to Jose about the different wines they carry. By the time we left that night Jose had talked us into coming back again and doing a tasting. We were able to make it back two days later and Jose... More

I love this place! What a beautiful wine cellar. Very pricey but for me, right up my vineyard! Staff was impeccable & knowledgable, atmosphere...yay, was there several hours (met a couple of locals and they rocked...Madelyn and Diane). So much fun. They have many flights to choose from plus cheese plates, nuts, ect. Definitely give this place a try and... More

We had long looked forward to the Wine Cellar and sampling wines from around the world. The Cellar is entered by stairway near the rear of the Masquerade area beyond the stage. It took a bit of hunting to locate! Once at the bottom of the stairs, we found there was no hostess and were a bit disorented. However, we... More

This place is a bit hard to find in the Rio Hotel. You would also not expect a wine-bar in this hotel that looks kind of cheap with mainly buffet restaurants. However, we managed to find the Wine Cellar finally. Wines are availble in flights of 3, 4 or 5 glasses and are priced quite high. Quality is more than... More

My husband and I visited the Wine Cellar when we were spending a child-free weekend in Las Vegas this past February. It was recommended to us as one of the best-kept Las Vegas secrets and we would have to agree! We sat at the bar and each ordered a wine flight, plus cheese and charcuterie plates to share. Our bartender... More

This is a hidden treasure in the basement of the Rio. Great wine tasting selection and very nice ambiance. While is fairly pricey (three to four 2 oz tasting range from $19.00 to $85.00) it is something different to do, and was a nice late afternoon/early evening precursor to dinner. Jose, the sommelier, was exceptionally knowledgeable, and made the experience... More
