Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very disappointed in customer service. Spent hours and many dollars and couldn't get drink service playing video roulette. Complained to a manager named Neil who was very busy socializing with other customers and told my husband that he was too busy to deal with my husband's emotions. I overheard Neil and the other customers laugh at my husband, even after I told them that he is a disabled veteran. My husband served close to 30 years in the Army and suffers from PTSD and when I challenged Neil for insulting a disabled veteran, he literally laughed it off. I brought my husband here to celebrate his 67th birthday and to hopefully help his PTSD. Now he feels so hurt and insulted and depressed that he won't leave our room. If you don't have any experience with a veteran suffering from PTSD, then you may not understand the seriousness of this incident. It is real and tonight a veteran was disgraced in the MGM Grand Casino. Very sad!

When I am in Las Vegas I tend to try out as many casinos as I can in a short amount of time. The MGM Grand is very spacious with plenty to see and do. On a Sunday night it was crowded but had plenty of slot machines open to gamble. I recommend going to MGM Grand even if not to gamble, just check it out, you won't be disappointed.

MGM Grand is on the "Four Corners" of the Las Vegas Strip. This is one of the largest casinos in Las Vegas. They have all the popular table games and some of the latest slot machines. They are doing an excellent job with social distancing and providing plexiglass barriers, sinks, masks and gloves. They have dining options in all price points from fast food to 4-5* restaurants. Very friendly staff on this visit. I added many photos and will return again soon.

Spent time in several casinos. This one was smokiest. It just wasn’t a pleasant experience with such a smoke smelling place. Certainly they could enable a better ventilation and smoke sucking/disposal system! It’s a big enough place to put the few smokers in another area and let them puff away without ruining the experience for the overwhelming majority who are not smoking. We left.

In Vegas for a week, played slots and had wins and losses. I realize I'm going to leave them money, but I want to have fun playing. Slots were really tight and not very fun to play. And then there was Saturday, our last full day. Went down in the afternoon before dinner, wasn't having much luck and then sat down at what is now one of my favorite machines. Not only did it hit but in various ways. I walked away with the machine going over $1000, had really had fun. Overall, I definitely left the house money, but I had a great time.

These days I gravitate to the different forms of bubble craps at casinos. This casino is really large compared to the other mgm properties close by. The azure bubble craps machine actually enforces the $5 minimum bets on number and field bets unlike the other mgm properties I was playing at. If you wanted the interlock terminals that was further into the casino. Interesting they had human dealers for roulette and bj at the stations. If you wanted the single bubble crapmachines they were close by.

The Casino at the MGM Grand is an excellent casino. I would say the best casino I have been to. I have been to other good casinos in Vegas and Atlantic City, but this casino tops them all for atmosphere and game play. I enjoyed my time at the blackjack tables and my friends enjoyed their roulette tables.

The casino has become old & very dated! Feels like walking into second class establishment. Received some playtime, however the atmosphere was dull & depressing! I am a senior & it could not keep my interest!

Not very fun. The slots were super tight. The table game minimum was very high and a lot of the tables were closed. It took for ever to get a drink. I tipped good snd asked for a faster return. Never saw the waitress again. Not a lot of selection like the casinos back home
