Avoid this place! We got married there years ago and had to take them to the Better Business Bureau because the owner was gaslighting me into thinking all their mistakes and lies were on me. They failed to honor my request to extend the length of time of the ceremony by a few more minutes and then told me that was not true when in fact, I spoke to them the day before to make sure of this. Needless to say, I complained and the owner did nothing but try to put all the blame on me. He had no sympathy and came across as very arrogant. I've heard and read others have said the same about this place. The photographs from the wedding consisted of half with my eyes closed.
I only got a handful of decent pictures out of the whole deal. GET MARRIED SOMEWHERE ELSE!

My daughter and her husband tied the knot here last weekend and I walked away with nothing but accolades to every employee that works there. From the Director of Operations, Dan; our wedding consultant, Laura; photographer, James; assistant manager, Katie and the minister, Domonic ~ this wedding went without a hitch and ever so beautifully! The Bridal Suite, the chapel (and even the clean restrooms) were a cut above what I had expected! We booked the High Roller package and didn't have to worry about a single thing. Our pictures were done and ready 4 days after the wedding . . . I don't know a photographer who works THAT fast! Thank you to all the staff at Little Church of the West from the bride, groom and me! ❤️💙

My wife and I were in town and decided to visit the Little Church of the West where we were married decades ago. We were surprised to see that the old historic Church had been physically moved across the street from its original location. But it is still physically intact. The ladies at the desk were kind enough to let us in to take some pictures and reminisce. W were only intown for a short stay so we didnt have time to go through a vow renewal ceremony....next time!
For any one looking to tie the knot, this is a great little historic venue that is truly different when compared to the glitz of other wedding chapels in town.

If you look back at some postings in October I would have to agree with what one reviewer said... I wish I had seen that review back in March the reviewer stated:

"Once they get your money they don't care."

I had booked this church in March 2005 for my November 5th wedding. I purchased a package deal for about $425.00 I was really looking forward to the whole ordeal. I had been in the church before so I knew the size of it. Being that I was from Dallas, I had to do most of the planning over the telephone. I do have relatives in Vegas but my wedding guest list grew to 50 people. I knew I was concerned about getting everyone seated and I had this special song I wanted to have played when the bridesmaids walked into the church (you will hear about this later on in the review)..

Around mid September maybe late September I decided to call the church to "ease my mind and get some questions answered".. Well, after I got off the phone with the church I was not eased, I was very stressed. You see.. they don't care about you. They wanted to get me off the phone as quick as they could. What really stressed me out the most was that I learned they had scheduled a wedding 15 minutes before mine even started and one 15 minutes after mine. I informed the church that I would have a FULL HOUSE of 50 guests.. Again, they DON'T CARE. I called back two different times thinking I would get someone who cared and would make my mind feel more at ease, get questions answered and help with my flowers. NO... didn't happen. I could not believe how uncaring. Oh.. have your flowers done some place else. They did a poor poor job. Very disappointing.

I decided to stop by the church on the day before the wedding to go over some things with my fiancé... Some old lady who works the office just wanted us out of there. Said.. "Oh you can't see the church for hours as we are booked with weddings". Not helpful at all. She never even was interested in what I wanted or had concerns about.

Day of the wedding was a big joke. The limo driver they sent to get me never called me like he was supposed to when he arrived to pick me up at my hotel. I was told.. STAY IN YOUR HOTEL ROOM AND THE LIMO DRIVER WILL CALL YOU.. well that didn't happen. When my daughter finally called the church to see where the limo was the old lady at the office desk said.. the bride is already here.... and my daughter said "How can that be when she is sitting right here next to me." See.. they book so much together they don't know what they are doing.

Then at the church I had my niece as my "wedding planner" she had the music the license... the plans. But that church has THEIR PLANS.. it goes their way or the highway. My mother never got walked into the church after the guests were seated. She was herded into the church with everyone else. My daughters didn't get to stand next to me because they placed them where THEY wanted them to stand. So I had other attendants next to me instead of my daughters.

Get this.. the lady at the office put the groom's flower on one of the ushers. How can that be?? So the groom didn't even have the right boutineer. The groom even argues with her and she said.. OH NO.. this is right. WELL IT WASN'T !!!

WE got to the church and they were so backlogged with weddings. We had to wait for two weddings to be over before we could get out of the limo. THE FAQ says they have waiting rooms.. RIGHT... no they don't. When I asked about waiting rooms I was told.. ONLY IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE.. They aren't so don't bother asking.

Our ceremony was less than 9 minutes long. Can you believe that?? Oh.. and they don't start the ceremony until everyone is in the church with the doors closed behind them. So the groom got to see me before I wanted him to. I had five attendants and so that music that I wanted to play when the attendants walked down the isle.. BIG JOKE... all you could hear was the first word.

My wedding was scheduled for 6:30pm on a Saturday night. I paid a great deal of money for my "special package".. Be sure and look at the FAQ on their website because when it says your wedding will last 20- 30 minutes.. that is the biggest joke of them all.

Oh.. the recorded wedding video that you pay extra for.... They managed to screw that up also. The sound was fine at the beginning when "this person" was herding everyone in there and placing people where they wanted them placed. NOT WHERE I WANTED THEM PLACED.. then right when the ceremony started all the sudden this humming noise took over the video.. and all we have now is a HUMMING noise that you hear all throughout the video. So you don't get to hear me say my vows and my husband say his.. all you get to hear is humming...

I sent an email to the church after I got home as this world ordeal was very upsetting and depressing for me. I got a message from "GREG" to call him. He was VERY CONCERNED. Well my husband called him the next day.. NO RETURN CALL.

You see they are done with us... They have our money.

So think twice about this place.. Go some place else where they care.

Write me, I will be happy to go over anything with you to make your experience a better one.

This was the most horrible experience. They were an hour behind schedule, the church was itty bitty, we had to pay the limos$200-$300 extrea to wait the extra hour, they made the bride SIT in the limo for the extra hour with no food our drink. When we called them on it, Manager GREG SMITH was the most belligerent person I have ever met. He physically got in my face on the front lawn and in the parking lot where they made our 30 guests stand for an hour waiting for them to get back on schedule. They refused to compensate for ANYTHING and took NO responsibility for the delay. As another poster said, they were more than pleasant when it was time to take credit card info, but it all went down the tubes from then on out. I've actually just returned, the wedding was Oct 1, 2005, and I will be posting on every website I can find about GREG SMITHS BEHAIVOR, I literally thought he was going to hit me. I had to tap his chest with my bouquet to get him to back away from me. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time or money, you will be sorry.

We flew from Scotland in April 2005 to get married in the Little Church of the West. It is definitely one of the nicest wedding chapels in Las Vegas but what they don't tell you is it is bordered by the airport on one side and a busy highway on the other. Make sure you take your own camera and don't pay any extra for photo's or the DVD. Our photo's are pretty poor, the ones we took with our own camera are better. The quality of the DVD is absolutely appalling. You can hardly hear what we are saying and at one point the sound is drowned out by fire engine sirens!! We were also over charged for the DVD. We emailed Little Church of the West about this when we returned to the UK, surprise surprise we did not hear anything back from them.

After flying to Vegas from England to suprise my wife on Valentines day, I suprised her by renewing our vows after 15 years.
We were Very disapointed with the quality of the DVD video they supplied as you can hardly hear us saying our vows and 6 weeks later we discovered the Little chapel of the west had lost the wedding pictures.
This was devastating!
Needless to say the trip cost us several thousand pounds and to have no pictures to show anybody of us all dolled up was very upsetting.
The little chapel of the west have not even been very helpfull in explaining how the pictures could have gone missing in the first place.
If the pictures were on normal film( we had 7 pictures ) then there must be another couple of weddings missing pictures too.
If the pictures were on digital they must be somewhere.
The best suprise I have given my wife has now gone very sour in our minds.......................

My husband and I were married at the Little Church of the West on June 4, 2006. Yes, June is the busiest month for weddings there, and yes, there was a couple in front of us and two behind us. But, the Church is adorable.. Actually, quite beautiful. Original Spanish Style structure. Nice, warm feel. Real wood, not anything painted white!! The staff was rushed, but nice and very, very efficient! The limo driver did not call the room (only small incident).. I called the chapel and they said that he was on his way now and that they were a bit behind. He'd call my cell phone..So I, the Bride, went into the lobby at The Hotel Mandalay and waited for him--no big deal! I am from CT, Fairfield County.. NYC area. The Big Apple. This is no time to sit around. My fiance came down at the right time and we both got into the limo.. The driver was nice! We got to the Church and had to wait a few extra minutes (I booked it for 1:00pm, June 4th 2 months in advance)-- no big deal! It's Vegas!! Go with it!! The bouquet was beautiful and as I requested! The florist took a personal interest and actually was watching us through the doorway of her shop. I told her they were beautiful and I was pleased-she deserved it. We heard the church bells.. oh, the organizer said that's your signal walk to the Church. We walked in, the organist was there playing (lovely), the photographer was there with camera & video exquipment.. The minister was there to perform the service and was an expert at directions..The service was about 15 minutes, no, not 30 minutes, but my husband is a businessman and we have been together for 5 years.. This was perfectly fitting with his personality and my expectations. The service was short, but beautiful. The Minister was eloquent.. I wanted a beautiful, quick, classy, Las Vegas wedding and I had one.. If I had invited 50 or 100 guests I would've chosen to be married at one of the large hotels. This was just my husband and me and I wanted to be a part of Las Vegas' historical weddings. As Sinatra, Grable, Rooney and others. And, we were! The DVD is beautiful, the photographs are beautiful. The photographer is really quite an expert! Quick but gorgeous shots.. It was exactly what we wanted.. A beautiful, fairly quick (hey, some are 5 minutes) Las Vegas wedding. Just us..He in his Hugo Boss Tux and me in my tiara and Semi-formal, sequined gown. Then we went to see Celine Dion that evening. Oh.. beautiful memories. I do recommend this church and Celine Dion as well..

Me and my husband got married in the little church of the west in december 2003. We were very dissapointed with everything, the wrong music was put on and as i wanted my young son of eight to walk me down the aisle he was pushed down the front with my husband. I was left to walk down the aisle on my own behind my daughter who was the bridesmaid ,it wasnt how id planned my big day. We were also very rushed and the service only lasted around ten minutes,we travelled from england to marry here and was very upset at the way you are treated it is just like a production line. We wouldnt recomend any body getting married here we felt really let down. Mr and Mrs Moore England

I was very disappointed in The Little Church of the West. We booked our March wedding in January. When I called to order the flowers for my package, the receptionist was rude and offended that I would dream of calling on a Friday. We were rushed through the ceremony and rushed out the door after, and rushed away from the chapel. The flowers I requested were not the flowers I received, when I went to the office to point it out, I was asked "What do you want us to do about it now?" I later contacted the chapel via mail, after waiting 3 weeks with no reply, I called to speak with the manager, Greg Smith. He was also rude and abrasive, after a short nasty conversation, he did agree to refund the money spent on the flowers, unfortunately, even a refund will never make up for a disappointing memory of a very important day.
