We saw the show at Brighton beach NY. Tickets were $35-55 we got $40 was worth it. Interesting enough for 4-5 yo. Had dogs cats pig parrot doves hamsters little pony clowns about 1 hour long a lot of kids were laughing. This is a start as Broadway show tickets are super expensive so had to see how it goes. My child loves animals. So if your child not into animals I’m not sure if they would like it. Also it’s a kids level not adults. It’s a show for kids.

The faux snow filled the entire theater. Could see it billowing in the stage lights above us. We breathed it in the entire time. Many were coughing, it was hard to breathe. I would never take my children there had I known we would be inhaling unknown particles for the last 45 min of the show. Not to mention exiting the show was a nightmare. On either side of the *single* exit door they were selling merch. A total nightmare.

This is a family geared kids show. Our 7&9yos loved it! They were glued to the seat in front of them watching and laughing. The grandparents also had a blast! It’s not a great date show or show for young adults, but that’s not the audience they’re shooting for. If you’ve got young kids, this is just great!

3rd rate Slap-stck/ Juggling ; V-theater is miserable Venue
My wife & I wish we had read these reviews prior to attending this show.
My wife really likes animals and especially cats ( now that one adopted us 8 yrs ago. ).
I saw an AD for this Popovich show in the LV shows magazine available in hotel room. I asked wife if this would be something she would like to see ( my mistake ) and she said yes based upon the magazine ad.
The AD leads one to believe the show is all about, features and is focused on cats and dogs. Nowhere in ad does it say 90% of show is 3rd-rate slap-stick comedy, bad Charlie-Chaplin impressions, and just plain stupid/amatuerish juggling & magic tricks. For $70 ( after discounts ) we could have seen a much more profession Las Vegas style show.
Let me say up front, if you are expecting a show featuring CATS & DOGS, DO NOT SEE THIS SHOW. The animals are about as important to the show cast as the guy catching the missed-juggled items. The cat act was the last 9 mins. of 62 min. show ( I timed it ) and as Popovich says himself, the cats just do what they naturally do ( i.e. no tricks ). In my opinion, the cat tricks are what a cat would naturally do when placed in a fearful situation. I was uncomfortable watching this cat scene. If you like cats and understand cat behaviour you will appreciate what I am saying.
Like others have commented, the V theater is the biggest joke and fraud of a theater in Vegas. Is it more like a high school gym than a theater. The floor is FLAT and temporary chairs are placed in line ( remember your H.S. plays ). The stage is barely elevated and ANYONE sitting more that 10 rows behind the stage ( even VIP ) is looking straight at the head in front of them. General Admission tickets are a TOTAL WASTE OF money. V Theater mgmt. even knows visibility is so poor that they installed big screen projection TV's on each side of stage. The projection TV appears 1st generation ( ie. v. poor picture ). Besides, who pays $70 to watch TV in LV?
DO NOT GO TO ANY SHOW AT THE V-THEATER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

As a start, I am an animal lover. I have also read the other reviews. Here is my take on it the act.
The act that is presented is a risky one. Juggling, acrobatics, timed comedy, cats, rats, dogs, parrots, geese, and hamsters. There will be days when any one of those elements (or all) might not work. That is live nature of true live entertainment. There are no "take twos" like on TV. Part of the excitement of the act is that he might fail.
The act I saw was very funny, charming, old school Russian, and the animals added a wonderful dimension. At one point there were 15 happy cats sitting still on stage waiting to do their tricks. That alone is very impressive. Love of animals does help with the appreciation of this act, but still I felt overall act I was highly entertained.

We just saw this show, which began at 3:30 pm and lasted around 75 minutes. In advance, we printed (from on-line) a two-for-the-price-of-one ticket offer, so we bought 2 VIP tickets at a total cost of $59 for the pair (as we wanted to try to ensure that we would be able to sit in the first row for the best view).
We sat first row, center, and we were happily surprised by the show. Mr. Popovich is extremely talented, and the production is just plain old-fashioned good fun. Don't go expecting a refined, Cirque show. This is an afternoon affair, in a rudimentary theater, situated in the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood.
If you go just for laughs, giggles and smiles, you won't be disappointed (and the fact that Mr. Popowich rescued the animals in his show is "icing on the cake").
All things considered, we would highly recommend this show.

Everything about this whole experience was a nightmare. The venue was old and scary, the costumes were rags (not sure if this was intended but I think not) the animals seemed frightened and Mr Popovich was non-engaging and mechanical. I was so disturbed by it that I walked out for fifteen minutes then came back and offered my mother $100 to leave (which she took)
There are so many better shows to spend money on in Vegas, I agree that this is supporting homeless animals but it needs a serious makeover.

We got our tickets through the Las Vegas Explorer Pass, so our tickets ended up being about $25 each. I wish we would have chose a different show. We weren’t expecting a show made for toddlers. There’s little dialogue, cheap sound effects, and just all together a weird experience. Not many as many animal tricks as I l thought it’d have. I’m not sure why Comedy is in the name of the show as I had a straight face from beginning to end. The animals were cute but something was missing in this show.

My kids were looking forward to this show but it was not at all what we expected.
There were long parts of the show that did not feature any animals and were basically mediocre juggling and slapstick comedy. About half an hour into the show, my kids were asking "Where are the animals?". Worse than that, several parts of the show were very strange and really not geared for kids. There was one part where several of the characters were pretending to sing really badly and then another character carrying a large whip took them off stage one by one and there were loud sound effects of them being beaten/whipped.
There was also a part where the main character (Popovich?) starts to undo his pants on stage and then for some reason there is a large bra that he throws out from behind a screen. What??! Luckily, my kids did not really know what was going on, but it was still really not cool for a show that is advertised for young kids.
In addition there are jokes about blows to the groin and a weird segment where he is homeless and sleeping on a bench.
On the positive side, the kids did enjoy the few segments with the pets, however, this did not seem like a professional show. These are pet tricks that you would be impressed with if performed by your neighbour's pets. They are not really worth paying to see in a theatre.

Hi.
Is there a free parking at the site or close by? Is it hard to find a parking spot there in December?
Written 23 December 2018
There is free parking at the Shops at Miracle Mile. I am not sure if it is difficult to find parking spots in December as I visited in the summer.

Hi, The run time of the show is approximately 75 minutes.

Are these shows about the same everywhere? I was looking into the show coming up in NJ but realized I posted a question on the attractions in Las Vegas.....thanks in advance.

Is this appropriate for 4 year olds?? What is the approximate age range that this show is best for??
Written 27 February 2018
Yes - i think 4 year old will get a lot out of it (the adults accompanying may not but its fun to watch the kids enjoy this)
Written 27 February 2018
Would animal-crazy adults enjoy this? My husband and I are 30-ish, no kids. We do have 2 dogs and 4 cats, though, and we really love our pets and animals in general! Would we enjoy this show as something light to do in the afternoon, or is it a bit too immature/silly for adults to get into?
Written 8 January 2018
It is good for kids and adults! Being such animal lovers we really enjoy the show. The tricks he gets these pets to do it truly amazing! We hope you go and enjoy your time!
