Fun course
Nov 2019
Very challenging course from the tips single handicaps only but the course is well maintained and the biggest problem was many of the sand traps were under repair. Greens rolled true and the fairways were easy to hit off of.

interesting course for the money
Aug 2019
Haven't golfed here for awhile.Decided to choose this course while on a short Laughlin vaca. Not a big club house, run of the mill, has the basics. very friendly staff. Good price this time of year. Started us on #10 since we would be out there alone at that point of the day and can cruise right thru. Which we did. The cart path is interesting, not much of a cement path at all. It has grass rudders that you drive on to keep the cart on the path. Kind of reminded me of being in Chicago way back when in the hard winter and had to drive in the tire tracks on the un salted streets. It has its plusses and minuses. The bunkers are totally defending the greens on the back 9, and then some. Bunkers everywhere. A bit of a break the front 9. Some of the bunkers were not kept up, and had grass, weeds in them. However, for the money it is not a bad course. There are the par 3's that are a nice water challenge. Do bring extra balls, they also have areas you will not go in filled with lots of trees and shrubs. Even saw many balls that were just cut up by mowers on the fairways. Nice views and scenery. For the money it is average.

Nice course for the money
Jul 2019 • Friends
Played this course on while staying in Laughlin. We came specifically for golf so we wanted to play a couple of different courses. Wide open fairways, challenging par threes and a couple of long par fives. I would play this course again. Cheers!

Really good course
Mar 2019 • Couples
Was at the Avi Resort-don’t stay there, on a golf package that included this golf course.

Thought the course was excellent, many varied holes, some water. The sand traps, though are horrible, no sand at all.

Nice driving range, putting green, but very poor chipping area.

Mojave GC is a decent course, Huukan GC... not so much.
Feb 2019 • Friends
The people working at both courses are very nice and helpful. The course, given the time of year, was in good shape and a fun layout. The only major complaint is the bunkers - if you're in the middle of the desert you should be able to keep sand in the bunkers. I dont see HUUKAN Golf Course listed and I'm sure the owners want it that way. Some other reviews sites show it as a 4-star course... but I have no clue how they can do this. The people working are extremely nice, the greens are actually very good, but the fairways are rough rough rough. Several of the homes bordering the course are on the decline, which doesnt help the appearance of the course either.
Bottom line is I probably wouldn't pay to play the Huukan course again, but Mojave GC is worth playing for sure.

Apr 2018 • Couples
We had a large group of people......booked tee times 10 Months in advance for a 4 day tournament........day before we were scheduled to play they informed us that they were over booked and couldn’t accommodate us!
Sand in most bunkers was rock hard!

Great Golf Course
Apr 2018 • Solo
Fairways are in good condition and tge greens ran true. Many bunkers but manageable. Four tee boxes for every level of play. Pro shop well stocked and snack bar reasonable. Pace of play on a Tuesday morning was great.

Need to train starter
Mar 2018 • Couples
We were excited to find that the Mojave honors the Tucson City card. It saved us $20 each. We like the course because it's challenging. A bunch of bunkers here and nobody rakes them. If you are in a bunker you will more than likely end up in a footprint. When we checked it the guys in the clubhouse were very nice than we went outside. They had a couple of kids with clipboards that need training. They told us that they would call us when we were up. Well, after waiting quite a while I went back to ask when we were up, the guy said "I thought you were already gone". We ended up teeing off at 1:20 and finished as the sun was going down. 4hr 45 min round.

A great day on a beautiful course!
Dec 2017 • Couples
This course is very scenic and challenging. Always a great way to enjoy a beautiful day!

Two areas of concern which may affect your game: 1) There is rarely a beverage cart out (there are coolers with ice on the carts and a couple of bottles of water are provided) - on hot days, ensure you have sufficient drinks with you. 2) The spacing of tee times is very close which often results in a lot of waiting throughout the game. An effective marshal would help to deal with the golfers who struggle or those with poor golf etiquette.
