Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It used to be a great walk from the Riverside to the Palms. Unfortunately since the Colorado Bell closed it is not as much fun. You can no longer get through the Bell's parking lot - and have to detour to the street sidewalk - which is in need of repair. We cheat and take a water taxi from the Edgewater to the Pioneer and continue along to the Palms. On the way back we Casino hop , I wish they would open the walk or the parking area so you can walk from one end to the other.

You can’t get the feel for Laughlin without at least one River Walk. Go early in the morning and after sunset. You won’t regret it.

Too many stops and starts. River walk is closed in many spots causing you to have to walk all the way up to the main road over and back down.

Very average and interesting Riverwalk , it is not boardwalk or trail , just a pathway with hotel and casino on both side , some area you have to walk though the casino to reconnect the rive to me is overrated , just a long winding pathway , lot of bugs
and birds , not many people around , temperature around 65 Fahrenheit , nice weather for strolled out side , night time must be amazing views of the casino lights , overrated tourist attraction . not much to see !

We tried to walk along the river walk last night (Oct. 19th). The Colorado River water level was WAY down and the smell of dead, rotten fish was WAY up. Flying and crawling insects were everywhere above our heads, under our feet and all points in-between. Casinos along the way should at least hose it off! Debris was everywhere. We saw two skunks during our short walk (and they weren't in the least afraid of us - in fact, they chased us off). The stomach-churning stench of the rotten fish was the worst thing, though. I can't imagine anyone spending any amount of time on Laughlin's river walk.

Nice easy path to walk. Unfortunately full of flying insects. Also, the river walk does not completely connect from one end to the other end of our hotel the Harrah. I think because of construction. So we had to go up thru casinos, thru their parking lot to catch the river walk again.

Golden Entertainment closed this casino and ruined the river walk. It's very short now. You used to be able to walk all the way to the River Lodge. Now it stops at the Edgewater. Covid has been used as an excuse to make this whole area change. No "real" buffets, paid parking at Aquarius, and things are just wearing out. The lights are on, but nobody's home.

ATTACKED BY BUGS.... SO DISGUSTING, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE...

I have never seen anything like this before, been here many times for the past 40 years, the Cadisflies problem is getting worst, to a point, you don't want to go outside at night to enjoy the River Walk. They getting into your hair, mouth, ears, eyes, and nose, just a horrible experience.

It turned a romantic evening walk into a horror movie... The Attack of Flies!!!!

So much potential at Laughlin, but they just can't get their act together,,, so many casinos have closed or changed ownership, the tourists can't even go outside at night without being attacked by flies. I had 10 flies in my drink when I got back inside. Disgusting....

Spent the night in the Camper parked in the Golden Nugget Casino parking structure. Rising early, and in need of a bit of exercise to work off Bubba Gump Shrimp Company excellent supper, headed over to the Riverwalk Trail at 0530. Wanted to try to bet the summer heat. Failed, it was already 90+ degrees. This easy paved trail stretches from the Laughlin River Lodge to Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort. Trail is located near Hotel Corridor on Casino Drive. This walking trail gives you the opportunity to see the sights of Laughlin and activities on the Colorado River. As you travel on this trail, one can observe a multitude of boats, birds, and jet skiers on the River. Despite the early hour and heat, many individuals were strolling along the trail. The Colorado River was extremely busy. Need a break? Just exit the trail and duck into any of the 9 Casinos along the Trail. Certainly, a unique trail, which can be completed in 1½ hours or less baring interruptions. This is a novel idea for placing the Colorado River on display. Trail is open 24 hours / 7 days a week and is light up at night. Word of caution for nighttime walkers. Racoons, skunks, and other critters are often seen on the trail. River bugs (gnats, mosquitoes, and pesty flies) will drive you crazy. For daytime hikers, be sure to dress appropriately, it can get exceptionally hot on this trail due to the lack of shade. A hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion and water are a must have items for summer travel on the Riverwalk Trail, Your health and safety are important. Use common sense and have fun.
