Cathedral Gorge is an under rated beauty in a remote corner of Nevada. I mean you really have to want to visit it to travel that far. The drive itself is worth it, the scenery of the desert through Alamo and Caliente is worth it....More

Fun little place to go on an easy hike, enjoying the unusual formations found there. Have a picnic under a shade tree and enjoy the pleasant camp ground. Astronomy societies have come here because of our dark sky.

Interesting to explore the area and good camping spot overnight in our trailer. I put July 2017 as 2016 wasn't offered. Pretty warm when we arrived in the afternoon but as the sun started going down it became comfortable.
