We are locals and LakeRidge is one of our favorites! It is always well maintained and fun to play! It's more expensive than some in Reno, but worth it. The 15th green is our favorite. This signature hole features a huge drop in elevation from tee to the island green. It also provides beautiful views of the city. This Robert... More

Greens and surrounding area were beautiful. Well-maintained and wow-inspiring mountain views. Medium difficulty. Many little critters all around the course: Geese, birds and many many marmots living and scooting around the course. Cute, but skittish and probably in the family of rodents. We enjoyed our 18 holes on Lakeridge very much.

First some background information on me so that you can read the review with that understanding: 60-year-old female with handicap index of 23.3 Challenging and certainly golf-able course! It is in a park-like setting. Each hole has personality. And there are plenty of bunkers and water! This Robert Trent Jones designed course should appeal to golfers of all handicap levels.... More

This was a fun course. Watch out for the geese and rock chucks as they are all over. Course outline and Sand traps make hole challagning. Watch the water. Local plays seem to like to hit into you or go around you. We had one group that was very nice and we allowed them to play through, another group hit... More

I was by myself and I called the course to see if I could play. I was able to get a tee time and paired with a very nice couple. I enjoyed playing this course. A good degree of difficulty. It is well maintained. Really a nice place to play.

Lakeridge is a challenging golf course, and is (at August, 2015) in fantastic shape, with great fairways, good and challenging greens, and very adequate bunkers. And then there is that darned creek, which seems to appear almost every time I get a shot to the green. In some cases, you can plan well for it (hole 1, for example, offers... More

Played here this week through a deal I found on golfnow. It has a challenging layout. Can be long from the back tees. Course is in good shape. Water, bunkers, hills, trees.... It was really slow. I didnt see one marshall. A couple groups ahead had a few beers and were really loud. 15Th hole is scenic and challenging with... More

an interesting layout. The par 3 off the cliff is very distinctive. I called in as a single, and they placed me with a great two-some. It was an enjoyable day, and I look forward to playing there again

I highly recommend Lakeridge golf course as a fun and forgiving layout. There are a few water features, but they only add some interest and challenge to an otherwise wide open and very playable course. The staff is always friendly and as long as there is no snow on the ground in the winter, one can play this course.

Our trip wasn't planned to include golf, but we decided we wanted another day outdoors instead of in the casinos. Based on TripAdvisor info, we chose the LakeRidge Country Club and we enjoyed this course very much! It is a beautiful Robert Trent Jones design and it had a lot of challenges to the average player like us. The staff... More
