Beautiful Camus

Nicely laid out campus to visit and walkthru. Lots of greenery with a blend of the 1900s to modern day.

Wow this campus is modern meets traditional quad meets romantic rose garden. The student union has fabulous restaurants and a two story bookstore. There is always something happening on campus including art, lectures, performances and TED talks. There is a shuttle to help with access both during the day and for evening events. Great basketball for both men and women,... More

Delivered my grandson for the fall 2016 semester as a freshman. Easy application for admissions as they helped us get FASFA/under special needs/no parental support. Multiple selections of subjects to enroll. Dorms across the campus on one major block Very organized welcoming committee to settle new students in. Meal packages available to include selected diners right outside of school/dorm facilities.... More

This university is a class act from the time you arrive until it's time to leave. Although my son was accepted at a few university's--he definitely picked the best one. We fully understand why our son loves it so much!

UNR has been expanding programs and offerings over the past decade. New buildings are in progress, planned or recently opened. There are plenty of opportunities for students with well-known programs in journalism, engineering and Nevada's only medical school. It is a lovely campus on the edge of a burgeoning city.

My daughter started attending in June 2016, and I took some time to explore the campus before all the students arrived. It is much more lovely than it seems. Located super close to downtown Reno, but worlds away in look and feel. Gorgeous grounds. Interesting architecture and new buildings being built constantly. Modern meets traditional. Great pond and quad area... More

the campus at UNR is so beautiful with all the old buildings and amazing trees not to mention the variety of courses you can take while attending. If you don't want to take classes their it is still worth wondering around and gaze

Big enough to still be small....suited to those in the sciences and engineering. Methinks...even with the increased student body size...services are still set so as not to be a number.

Our first time on the campus of the University of Nevada was in August of 2007, we are from Mesquite in southern Nevada and our son chose to go to college there. We were immediately struck by the architecture of the buildings and the fact that this campus seemed like it was in a rural setting even though it was... More
