I occasionally take my friends spoiled Quarter Horse here to work him out. The paddocks/corrals are well groomed/maintained and have ample deep fine dirt. There's a round corral and the large rectangular paddock, which I use, that are all steel tube constructed and nice to work your horse. Also, a nice park area for sitting or lounging on a blanket... Good to stop, relax and look around at the historic farm equipment, outbuildings, regulation size horse arena and history of nevada. The is also a good information center worth checking out! Relaxing outdoor setting with nice walking trails that lead to a very nice kids park next door called wheatland Park.

The amphitheater, trails, and displays, plus the smaller events, are all set in very quaint settings. Most events are free to the public.

Went for a walk with my spouse. Enjoyed the walk and scenery. Not a lot to comment on. Relaxed outdoor atmosphere.

This place was one of the cheapest to rent for our wedding. Tables and chairs were included. The grounds are kept clean and there is a horse area, trails and hiking within the park. Perfect place for a picnic!

Nice place for a picnic or a walk. A small scale old west town with farm machinery to check out with the kids. One of the nicer parks in Reno.

I saw a harp player here. The sound is excellent, from any seat in the amphitheater. Gorgeous grounds, clean restrooms, and fantastic view of the stage. There are hiking trails, a horse arena, and reservable western-themed buildings. This is a beautiful place.

Bartley Ranch is a prime venue for outdoor concerts and theater performances in the summer. Both chair sitting and lawn sitting are available and patrons often have picnics by bringing their own food and wine while enjoying the concerts and performances. It is neighbors with the Harris Rancheria property where horses are boarded and can be observed training for jumps,... More
