Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Logan Shoals vista trail is on the eastern side of lake Tahoe in Nevada state. Tourist can have a nice view of Lake Tahoe, trees and mountains. This point is great wedding site for the bride and the goom.

This is a beautiful viewpoint along the east side of Lake Tahoe and definitely worth a stop. There is limited parking in a turnout along the southbound side of US-50. From there, it's a short walk to see beautiful views of the lake. Vault toilets were available close to where we parked.

A worthwhile stop next to highway 50 with easy access to parking and to a paved walkway, which leads directly to the vista point, benches and restrooms. Fantastic view of the lake. From vista point, hiking down thru bushes and rocks to lake's edge is worth the effort. There is a flat, dirt trail leading in both directions for maybe 1 1/2 miles total. Very serene and enjoyable.

Beautiful vistas from this nicely supported lookout area - parking is easy and there are restrooms (locked on the day we were there) The "trail" is basically a sidewalk leading to the view area with a few sandy informal paths around the base of some of the boulders. There is a patio area suitable for a wedding celebration

I noted this pullout on the way to S Lake Tahoe, traveling west from Reno so I decided to stop on the way back. The view was amazing, especially with the snow filled mountains as a back drop. There is a reasonable amount of parking but was pretty full when we arrived. The parking is ONLY on the westbound side and getting across the highway from the eastbound side can be tough. Definately worth the stop, just for the view.

We stop by on our way to south lake, and it's just breathtaking. Peaceful and beautiful. Great to have a picnic. Although, it was full of snow and cold but totally worth.

If you just want to stop and see beautiful views of Lake Tahoe, Logan Shoals is a wonderful stop. We were looking for a little more of a hike. Not far from Logan Shoals is Sand Harbor. Sand Harbor was gorgeous and makes for beautiful pictures.

This is a great vista point located in South Lake Tahoe. Amazing views of the lake, trees, and mountains. This spot is definitely worth the time for taking a hiking trail down toward the lake and for picture taking.

Great photo stop. Excellent view of the lake and coast line. You can also see cave rock. No parking fee, just a pull off north of the cave rock tunnel on the coast road. Limited parking. Very short walk to viewing spots and few stairs. Much easier to get too if you are heading south.

Our last stop on our drive around Lake Tahoe (counter clockwise). Great view of the Cave Rock before driving thru it. Perfect spot to take pictures at the rock formation with the Cave Rock in the background. Be sure to take the tiny trail on the right; it takes you to a point below the rock pile, a good vantage point for more pictures. The parking area comes up on you pretty quickly, so pay attention to the signs.
