There's just something about covered bridges that bring you back to a simpler time and bring calm. This bridge is very cool - you can walk and drive on it and it still has that covered bridge smell.

Since the rebuild in 2014, the Bath Covered Bridge has provided excellent travel for the citizens of Bath, NH, & West Bath, NH. During the rebuilding period Oct 2012 to Aug 2014, the local resident artist, Craig Pursley, had to swim across the 'rivah', as...More

The Bath Covered Bridge is right next to the the Brick Store America's Oldest General Store. Both are quite old. This covered bridge was built in 1833, a bit older than myself. I like its red painting. It attracts people with such a color. It...More

A beautifully maintained original Covered Bridge, this gem is a must see! If you anywhere near Bath, NH, do yourself a favor and visit this historic bridge. You can almost hear the horses cribbing (gnawing on the boards) on a quiet snowy day :) While...More

This is a long bridge, as it traverses the Connecticut River between NH and VT. It was built around 1822. It was repaired three years ago after spring flooding damaged it. It is open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, and there are interesting signs adorning it....More

This is right next to The Brick House, the oldest general store in the country. It's over a small river and near a dam and tiny waterfall and makes a nice visit, especially if you combine it with a visit to the store. In nice...More

One lane vehicle bridge with a walking path. Solid, clean and relaxing to walk across. Plenty of places to stop and view outside at the river below. Next door is a country store and ice cream shop

After visiting the Sore we went to see the bridge. It is nicely restored. My only complaint is that it is both a driving and walking bridge. They do have a a little higher walk way than the road., but you have to be careful...More

After spending a few minutes in the Brick Store, we wandered to the rear of the store to check out the bridge as the weather was so nice. The length of this bridge is very unusual for a covered bridge. I had never seen one...More
