About
Gralyn Estate was established in 1975 by Merilyn and Graham Hutton and is situated in Willyabrup in the heart of the Margaret River wine region in Western Australia. The organic vineyard and winery is small, family owned and operated, with non-irrigated, low yielding mature vines. The Estate is recognized as one of Western Australia's most prestigious boutique wineries, having been awarded numerous gold medals and trophies at both national and international wine shows. The influential American wine writer Robert M. Parker, Jr. describes the Gralyn Cabernet Sauvignon as "one of the finest Cabernet Sauvignons I have ever tasted from Margaret River." Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Loved the muscats
The reds did well too

We were recently recommended to go here as the wine was nice. We were a group of 6 adults and my 2 year old son.
I’m 7 months pregnant so was sitting in the chair whilst my husband and friends did some wine tasting. A friend of ours was playing with my son and keeping him entertained so I could stay sitting. There was only a few ppl in there and my son was doing some laps up and down burning some energy inside. The younger girl that worked there asked nicely enough if he could be taken outside to run around (I wasn’t aware of this) So he was outside with our friend (outside in the cold no rain luckily) and briefly popped inside to go to the window and squealed in happiness through the window at our friend then went straight back outside.
Then a rude remark came from the older lady around 60 whose name is Anne saying ‘oh I can’t stand that screeching’ I was a bit taken aback by the rude remark and asked her what the problem was. She really gave it to us. Accusing us my son was the reason why people just left the room even though they purchased wine. I told her she could have told us what the problem was and not be so passive aggressive about it. She kept insulting us and becoming extremely defensive. We picked up our things and left in shock and felt deeply insulted. When my friend asked did she have kids on the way out she said ‘yes but they are well behaved’ just to add more to the insult. I managed to say it’s not what you said but how you said it in that passive aggressive tone. I can see now how his running laps may not been a good idea but that does make him a badly behaved child nor did we deserve her rude remarks and aggressive behavior. This is NOT a family friendly winery and I would not recommend this place to anybody ever. Stay away. There are so many (all the rest) wineries that are very child friendly so don’t waste your time.

This winery makes heaven in a glass! They have a wide selection to choose from, the manager had an extensive knowledge on the ins and outs of the winery and the wine was delicious!
This family owned winery is unique but amazing, we will be back and I will be recommending it to others!

Having researched the region prior to our visit Gralyn was highly recommended many times. Their fortified wines were highly recommended as some of the best in the region. We left with four bottles which is proof that Gralyn did not disappoint.
We arrived early and were greeted by a smile and fantastic service. If you like fortified wines this is a must visit

Love this little winery. Friendly host with some of the best tasting Cab Sav in Margaret River. I visit every time I travel down south.

This is one of our regular stops. Wines are very nice and picked up some of their Reserve bottles on special due to damaged labels.
If you like good wine then this is a spot for you.
