The caves themselves were beautiful if not a little over hyped. YourYo only in there around 5 minutes. A shame we couldn't swim though. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by the boat driver that you get when you arrive at the blue cave (photo attached)....More

Hi. I don't know about the Split. We bought the tour directly from Vis. But tourism is the main activity there so I wouldn't be worried about it. Most probably that you will find the tour even cheaper than you can choose... More

My guess is yes. I visited in October and there were quite a few visitors there.
