Great mountain with picturesque views and awesome terrain. View from the lake up to the mountain is one of the best in the Whites, get out there and hike!

Came for a day hike with a group of 4 adults, 7 year old and the pup. Slightly extreme hike for the kiddo, we had to stop for lots of breaks. What read as a 4.5 hour hike round trip became a 7 hour day....More

This is a full day hike for most. Not necessarily a beginner hike since there is a good section above treeline that requires some easy rock scrambling. Make sure you bring the proper clothes / hiking essentials because weather can change quickly.

MT Chocoura is one of the nicest hikes in the white mountains. There are many different trails to pick to get to the summit. The view from the summit is absolutely breathtaking.

The top of this peak offer 360 views! There are many routes up. My family took the Liberty Trail up. I would say it's moderately difficult. The last .3 mile, however, is a steep rock scramble. This last part for me as a 50+ year-old...More

The view from the top is amazing and worth every sweat, blood, and tear shed during the hike up. This was a moderate hike but because we were still sore from a previous hard hike, hiking Mt Chocorua was quite a challenge for us. Nevertheless,...More

Beautiful views, great trail, not too much traffic. Last 20% of the trail includes significant climb on steep rocks - not for those who fear heights.

Hiked up the falls trail and sat and had lunch on a rock in the middle of the falls. BEAUTIFUL! Great on a hot day!

My two brothers, a sister-in-law, a 33-year-old nephew and I hiked up to the Liberty Cabin on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We encountered perhaps a dozen other people during the full-day hike. We had meant to get started at 8:00 in the morning, but in...More
