Went up to Flume Gorge at $16 a head decided not to go but wanted to see a waterfall. Was told by park worker of these falls down Kancamagus Highway. Took short walk off highway. A beautiful flume waterfall. Railings were made of wood and...More

Short walk just off Route 112 (aka "The Kanc). Fairly attractive falls up a short canyon. Definitely worth a short stop. Parking lot and some off road parking. Fee for parking without pass such as Golden Eagle.

A quick 15 minute walk leads you to Sabbaday Falls. The falls are a series of cascades in a narrow flume. 35 ft total drop. The upper punchbowl drops 5 feet into a pool, and the main falls drop 22 ft. One of the prettiest...More

This isn't a 'hike'. It's a family friendly short walk of about 1/2 a km. Lots of parking available (recreation pass required). Walk in, take the Sabbaday falls trail section. It climbs up several platformed viewing areas then returns down the other side. Easy for...More

Very easy walk with only a few inclines. The falls are not massive but very nice. Lots of benches to rest along the way if you need to. Well maintained.

Short beautiful walk to the falls. The forest service has done an excellent job with paths and railing over and around the falls to the top. So glad we stopped!

This was a short, easy .6 mile out and back hike to see the falls. They are very pretty. It was an easy hike for us and our four kids, ages 6,8,10, and 12. We all enjoyed it. When we were here in early August,...More

Nice short walk to the falls with bench's to rest along the way. Railings keep the stupid people out. Go early to beat the crowds.

What a great place. It's beautiful! I'd even draw breathtaking. But you can't swim? Really? I get it. Some idiot would try something stupid. But for those of us who love the fresh water, its disappointing that you can't take a dip here.

Great place to go for a short hike to one of many beautiful areas of the Kancamagus. It gets pretty crowded during the peak tourist seasons, so if you can get there early and on a day where it is not too crowded, you can...More

The closest lodging to Sabbaday other than camping areas would be the Kancamagus Swift River Inn or the Darby Field Inn in Conway

It should be easy to find - but keep your eyes peeled for the parking lot signs. We missed it on the first pass, but just turned around and came back. However, strongly recommend that you stop at the White Mountains... More
