Very nice State Park. We visted soon after a snowfall. We snowshoed through trails to the falls and river. We had some excellent photo shots. Nice place for hiking, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing as well.

Very special area. Surprisingly, the mountains of New Hampshire may not be as high as those out West, but they are magnificent in their own way. Excellent highway drive right through. Restaurants, and facilities along the way. Stunning scenery, with some waterfalls and trails. Fortunate...More

Very nice State park with multiple levels of walking trails. We enjoyed the Basin , the Flume Gorge. Don't waste your time stopping at the Old Man of the Mountains. The rock formation fell off years ago. Not sure why this is even included in...More

Nothing specific, just going up the trails they have there. There's one main trail, and one or two side trails you'll see as you go along.
