Hidden gem for young kids! Made the trip with our 3.5 year old who loved his weekend at Storyland. Highlights included the Polar Coaster, raft ride, ferris wheel and foam ball room. Everything is geared around young children. The park is very walkable and staff...More

We look our 4 year old over Father's Day weekend. It wasn't crowded (wait was 5-10 min for each ride) and weather was perfect. She loved the antique cars, train, splash pad and of course the Bamboo Chutes ride! Lots of age appropriate rides and...More

It's a great place with lots to do. Even if you have little kids they can ride most rides wth adults. Bring sun screen! You can also go back and forth to your car so bring a change of clothes if the weather looks rough...More

I remember going to Storyland as a child. And now I am back with my child. Everything is still as it was, with some new additions. The age range for enjoyment is 2-11, depending on the child. My son was never interested in nursery rhymes,...More

It's a great place for kids, I still bring my kids here even though they are a little older. Great rides, good park food. Most of the staff is nice, I have never had an issue with rude staff, but have seen it. There are...More

We love Storyland! Have been coming for four years and are never disappointed. We always come earlier in the season so it isn't too crowded or too hot, so we get to avoid lines. However, some of the meal places don't open until later, so...More

Piece of advice: go the day before 3 hours before closing to be exact) and then you can go the following day free!! It was a great day, we have 2 almost 3 year olds and they had a fantastic time! Food was ok, very...More

My kids liked Storyland. The park was clean, large and plentiful. We went opening weekend and the crowds also came. The rides are nice, but the wait lines are long. The park is only open from 9-5pm, so each ride has an average wait time...More

I have two kids ( 8 yr old and a 4 year old) should I be concerned that my 8 yr old is too old for storyland? This will be our first visit to the area and I scheduled this day as a fun day for the kids.

It shouldn't be a problem at all for an 8 year old, my 15 and 19 year olds still love to go there.

I was just on the Story Land website. We are not from the area and will only be visiting for one day. I was going to buy tickets (and maybe a kids meal plan) ahead of time on their website. But a $9.99 processing fee!!! Thats INSANE. $2 or so I can see but 10 bucks!!! Would I be saving any money this way? Doesn't seem like it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

You can easily buy tickets at the door. There is no advantage to buying them online that I am aware of.

What are people's experiences with the character dinners at Storyland? We are thinking about doing this for my daughters 5th birthday. Or if not at Storyland, are there any recommendations for a different fun place to go for a special birthday dinner in that area? My daughter is 5 and my son is 2. Thanks!
