This was so much fun! Steve took his time with us knowing that it was our first time in a kayak. It was a 6 1/2 mile trip. I would definitely recommend Great Glen Trails to everyone. They have another area that is for more experienced people.

We signed up for a morning half day kayak tour on a whim. We ended up being the only people on the tour. The guide got us set up with life vests and booties, loaded up the trailer and off we went. Once we got to the put in we didn't see anyone else until we got to the take... More

Our family likes to kayak and wanted to try something other than the Saco River while in the North Conway area. I noticed Great Glen Trails on Trip Advisor . I am so glad that we gave it a try. This trip was excellent from booking to finish. Eli answered all of my questions and was extremely pleasant and friendly when... More

Worth a visit in any season, just for the location and the view! The lodge is gorgeous, and has great photos showing the history of the Mt. Washington auto road and buildings on the summit. The auto road goes from here ... but that is not why we visit. This is one of our favorite places to ski (classic and... More

We spent a fun and relaxing morning paddling on the Androscoggin River. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the river. He also was a good instructor. I strongly recommend this trip if you're ever in the area!

We visit each year..not for the adventures but to grab a light lunch from the excellent cafeteria and just enjoy the view of Mt Washington. The gift shop and museum are worth the visit also. But the view. You can see cars inch their way up the auto road to the summit and just soak up the beauty of the... More

My wife and I are novice paddlers and we had a fantastic time on our 1/2 day kayak trip on the Androscoggin River yesterday. The views were fantastic, the river clear and uninhabited, and our guide Steve friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time and would recommend this to anyone. Somewhat surprised that there was not more help putting... More

Rented bikes and took my somewhat cautious 8 year old. She loved it! Great scavenger hunt for kids. Ride to Angels hut was reasonable for a 2 hour rental. Hiked down from hut to the beautiful river (there is no trail and it's very steep - be forewarned)! Great friendly staff. Highly recommend! We will be going back. Photo from... More

We took twelve of our senior Boy Scouts and parents to Great Glen Trails to learn whitewater Kayaking. Nate and Eric were our instructors and did an outstanding job of taking the whole group through the fundamentals and then after about an hour and half of instruction we were ready to take the white water Rapids. Our crew had a... More
