Literally. It seems as though no one in town even knows when it will be open. A sign says if the flags are out, they are open. We have lived up here for over 6 months now and never seen the flags out once.

Had to look through the windows but the place was shut down. Went and had lunch and returned. Still shut down. Might have been interesting?? Who knows? Do not make a special effort to visit!

Very quaint museum and old train station. Very nice museum guide who told us all about the area, train and other interesting information about the area. Admission is by donation.

Word of mouth led me to treat the family to a visit to this Historical Society and Railroad Museum. The well preserved 1907 train Depot that serves as the museum was clean and well lit. The personnel were very pleasant and interesting to listen to....More
