We went to Smuttynose to explore a new brewery in the area. Immediately we were unimpressed by the unfriendly staff member at the front register. She was rude and short and not welcoming at all. The tasting room is not designed with customers in mind....More

Great little local brewery. Store was nice and we were able to look over the bottling line. The tasting room was also a great location inside the brewery. The also have a great restaurant next door.

This is definitely a brewery visit and not a brew pub. You pay for four tastings at the door and then wander back into the brewery with the huge mash and fermentation vessels to a small area where you try the beer. Very friendly staff,...More
