This place is great and ski crowds are few! You can go to the top and bottom from Black to Green runs.

My previous impression of Wildcat was a mountain with challenging terrain and frequently icy. Since we were visiting nearby and the temps were up near 40 degrees, I thought we had the weather in our favor to try it out. Definitely accurate reputation about the challenging terrain with some very impressive local skiers ripping it up. No ice while we... More

This ski resort has great Hills and trails as well as Majestic views of the White Mountains. The people here are really friendly and the rates on bad at all

Clear blue day with fresh powder overnight! So few of us here and lucky to benefit!! Best trails were those without snowmaking as those trails weren't groomed before the fresh layer of snow, compounding the depth. Top that with a thin crust formed by the storm finishing as rain and you have deep powder under a crust which was hard... More

We visited (group of 6 intermediate skiers / snowboarders) the day after they received 2 feet of new powder. What an experience! The views on the way to the Mtn are spectacular by themselves. Ride to top is on fast lifts, bundle up face though b/c the wind adds enough chill for it to be uncomfortable if not prepared. Mtn... More

This mountain is quite average. There is not that much for the kids to do, except to ski! I found it kind of annoying that all the trails were associated with cats, such as CATipult, wild kitten, cheetah, and hairball. Overall the experience was ok, and our family had fun!

What fun we had!! We went on the Wildcat Ziprider after seeing it on Chronicle TV show. You ride a chairlift a 1/4 of the way up the mountain then get off and hike a bit to get to the Ziprider. They have three chairs. You step up on the platform, sit in the harasses and they strap you in... More

We took a ride to the summit of the mountain to enjoy the nice views of Mt Washington. The staff was very friendly and the ride to the top took no longer than 15 minutes. The views from the top were amazing.

Well your results will be weather dependent for sure. Skipping the 2000' "up" part is pretty cool though some purists would turn up their nose in disgust because you "cheated"! So here's the deal: The descent is via a gravel service road that is almost totally exposed to the sun so higher temps might be uncomfortable. It can be rather... More
