Traveling from Lunenburg, Vt to Lancaster, NH, this is a nice way to travel in lieu of Rt 2. Interesting old farmhouses along the way.

There is no one around and that makes this little spot a piece of splendid isolation. I drove for what seemed forever on Elm St but so glad I kept going! The bridge, the river and the fields are lovely and I bet in another...More

Come here late afternoon to admire s wooden construction of the bridge that connects NH and VT divided by Connecticut River. During sunny weather admire a gorgeous sunset laying over majestic Kilkenny Range.

Out for a nice drive in scenic northern New Hampshire one day looking for some covered bridges. Came across Mt Orne covered bridge. New Hampshire has a lot of these bridges and I have been going around the last couple of years just visiting them....More
