I guess I expected a tall flowing falls. The water in the stream definitely was flowing and falling -- but regardless of definition - this was pretty; isolated, yet close to the road; and peaceful! There is an "out house" as you enter the paths....More

3mile flat walk each way (6 miles total). Trees, streams and plenty of views overlooking the river. Natural slides and swimming area at the falls. Very busy and well traveled.

Great hike on well established trails. Fairly flat most of the way, last 0.4 miles to the falls gets steep, narrow, and sometimes muddy, wear footwear with good traction.

You can hike or bike back to the falls, however if you do ride bike, beware the last .4 mile you will have to walk your bike or leave to walk the rest of the way. The path is an old railroad trail that still...More

There are some areas of the falls where it is safe to swim. There are other areas you cannot swim and they are marked no swimming.
