If your looking to picnic, fish, or go for a quiet hike with some breath taking scenery Massabesic is perfect, swimming is prohibited but you can still drop a kayak in the water and enjoy the view

Park car and relax at picnic tables, or ride or walk trails for miles. Beautiful scenery, boats on lake . Peaceful area to read or just ponder.

Lake Massabesic is a wonderful lake for activities, but also great to sit by. There are some trails that are easy and fun. A great picnic area, and the Audubon Society is right up the road!

Even though the park gates are chained/locked, you can still park nearby to get access to the 4 mile trail, weather permitting. The park opens April-May til October, depending upon the weather as well. Also, no boating... More
