I’m downtown Manchester. Really cool place, especially for small and school aged kids. It’s small so it is not a big time commitment. Basically a place to learn about the Merrimack watershed and fish that go to and from the ocean. Fred but there is...More

If you are looking for a great activity with kids from 2-12 then I highly recommend the Amoskeag Fishways. The Fishway is a fish ladder, nature center, part museum and activity center all in one building by the hydro electric dam in Manchester’s North End....More

Great for a quick little something to do with the kids. We went with 4 kids ages 9-15 and they all loved it.

This was a wonderful place to take my grandson. He loved it!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are a lot of hands on activities for kids of all ages. They even have a rattlesnake uggh but he was cool too.

Was looking forward to a nice visit to find that they were closed! The web site said they would be open and also had different hours posted on the door.

This is a must do. Super spot for a family, but we found our ages of 60 and 88 were perfectly suited as well. Be sure to push the fish buttons downstairs!

Went here on a whim. All exhibits were closed due to a "classroom" visiting. The "classroom" consisted of 4 kids and 2 disinterested "teachers". All the people who actually were there to see the fish ladder were told to come back later.

Located near the La Quinta Inn. Park in the lot and then follow the fish path (seriously) down a completely paved path. Listen to the water rushing by. Check out the lock. When you get to the bottom you will have a clear view of...More
