Sat at the bar. Delish Shepherd's pie. Fine beer selections. Enthusiastic bartenders. Above average "pub-like" venue. Families welcome. Plenty of parking.

In late January I went from Boston to Portsmouth for a day of errands with a friend from Istanbul. On the way back I decided to show him Throwback (where I have been twice before). The day was cold, foggy, sleety and slippery; but Throwback...More

Awesome beers. Personable and professional staff. Fun vibe. We look forward to visiting again in the warmer weather when the outdoor patio is open. Chris is the brewmaster and he does a wonderful job with some creative recipes. He was very hospitable in educating us...More

Always enjoy our visits here. Good Atmosphere w/ Great craft beer and food choices. We enjoyed the Mushroom Poutine, House Pickled Veggies, and Carnitas & Fish tacos. We prefer the IPAs, Donkey-Hote and Sancho Panza. The ladies are always on their game and friendly.
