Small independent toy shop in Portsmouth. Some unique items. Staff is friendly. A couple items that the kids can play with like the train table in the back. Near many shops and restaurants.

Visited the best toy store in the Portsmouth area. Needed to find a world map for our 3 year old grandson. Had looked elsewhere but no one else stocked item. The sales people were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They had EXACTLY what we were looking for and more. If I were a kid in that store I would be crying not to leave. If you are in the area visiting Portsmouth,NH, and have young children or grandchildren, this store is a must,!

Fantastic selection of fun and unique toys and games for the kids. There is something magical about the store, it’s definitely worth a visit. Plenty of parking in front of the store along the street. And the prices were reasonable!

We have spent hour upon hour in this store as our kids were growing up in the Portsmouth area and enjoyed every minute. The staff and proprietors had always been friendly and helpful, and we spent so much time there, it seemed like just visiting friends. More importantly, I suppose, was the broad selection of toys and children's books that are now stashed in our attic, well worth saving for our children's children.

We have been shopping at G Willikers for several years. I am surprised that I have never reviewed them before. Jody Benneman and family run an incredible toy store. They are personable, flexible in sales and full of sounds advice. They have played with most of the games and toys. They know hat is popular with each age group. They even have (I heard) parents come try out the toys events). What they have is generally uncommon, sometimes unique and always special. Our only problem is that we end up buying just one more thing and then have to make up what event it is for. Recently I even got a Simon for myself. Almost the same price as decades ago. Got to keep up with the grandkids. You can't go wrong at G. Willikers.
