This is a cool little bar downtown. They have the most amazing cocktails. It is a small bar and turns into a bit of a nightclub but overall is a great little place.

Have you ever wanted to feel like you were trapped in a jogger's scrotum? Then this is the place for you. They'll take anyone's cover even if they're closed (no refunds, didn't happen to me personally, but I did watch it happen when I left). They cram you in way beyond a capacity that is safe or legal. Want to... More

Bartenders? Try again. Apathetic attitudes serving liquid in cups. This place has been out for a while. Not even worth being "seen" there, even if it was busy. Hang it up Door.

My husband and I went to the Red Door at 9:00 on a Friday Night. The place was empty. While the space was nice, the bartenders were inexperienced and were not able to properly make a simple Manhattan - I had to send the drink bank and got a snide look in return. This place has no sign, which isn't... More

I heard about this place from a co-worker and decided to check it out. It doesn't have a sign, so you have to know where it is. We only had an address and somehow we figured out where which door to go in. There is a bouncer right when you walk in. You go up a set of stair and... More

Jon Lessard puts together some really good shows at the Red Door. He puts together great lineups of music and comedy (separately). I like that there is actually a place for original music and experimental comedy. It is geared toward a younger crowd. I like that. A few groups of people who show up there do not. The place is... This is one of my all time favorite places to visit when I lived in Portsmouth and when I come back to visit. It's a great place hidden from the tourists and yuppies that have increased in the years. Chill house music fills the small, yet semi upscale place filled with professionals of all ages looking to savor a nice... More

I had my first martinis ever here and have searched everywhere for a place that even comes close. Nothing does! Their espresso martini is amazing. The others are very good too but I just go straight for my favorite now. It's an odd place because it's not marked - it just has a red door and you go upstairs once... More

An upstairs bar, rather pricey but when busy it has a lot of ambiance. A fun place to hang out. Adults only.

"Martini bar". Pretty expensive for the area and generally the crowd doesn't justify the price.
