A friend urged me to go into this shop with her and I'm so glad I did. Salts for baths and salts for eating. The staff person was informative but not at all overbearing. She let us browse around and taste on our own. We...More

Visited earlier in the morning, neat little shop, staff was friendly and interacted with us but let us look around as we pleased. Answered questions when prompted. Offers bath/body salts along with food salts/seasonings. Worth a stop! Packaging isn't great on the bath salts. Mine...More

We stumbled on this one of a kind shop and it was very informative experience. We learnt about new uses of salt, and there are very interesting uses of salt, that we never knew about. I would recommend checking out their website!

I am a sea salt and flavored salt junkie, so this store was a great find. Aside from salt for food, they also have lots of lotions, soaps, and other salt products. If you are in the area, it is worth checking out.

Great store with all kinds of salt in all kinds of forms. Salt lamps, salt blocks on a rope to dip into soups etc, for flavor, salt eggs and hearts to use as deodorant, plus ground salts for seasonings. So many items can't remember them...More

We really liked The Salt Cellar and it's worth a visit if you're in Portsmouth. They have salts in different flavors and if you like to cook it's a great place to pick up some unusual flavors.

This store is fun and interesting. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. After learning about salt and smelling some samples we bought quite a few. Get the black truffle salt!

We read about this online and I was skeptical about a shop that only has salt in it's product line but I was pleasantly surprised. The shop has one side devoted to products in the beauty and other non-edible realm, the other side deals with...More

John, Thanks for taking the time to offer a thoughtful review of our store. We study and travel to find the many products that include salt as an active, healthy, ingredient. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit! Don & Judit
