It's less crowded than Hampton, but every bit as enjoyable. Great sandy beach, open views of the ocean and within five minutes of fast-food or full-service restaurants. Great for families.

Loved having a picnic at Rye Harbor State Park. Enjoyed the beautiful day, good food from Petey's, and catching up with family. The scenery is gorgeous and there is just something about the ocean...

The park juts out into the ocean, so the views are pretty incredible. The Isles of Shoals are only 7 miles away. There's a small adjoining rocky beach that's fun to walk (but not at high tide) as well as a tiny beach at the...More

Rye Harbor State Park offers some fantastic views. If the day is very clear, you can see the Isle of Shoals perfectly!

Had driven north along Ocean Blvd from Seabrook passing the crowded - even in September - beaches prior to coming upon this quiet haven. It is not as long as the beaches we passed, but there is free parking along the road. A small scramble...More

According to the park website, the fee is $4 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 to 11. If the kiosk is unattended, you deposit the money in what is called the iron ranger.
