Sadly, Leaven closed circa October 2016. The owners decided to concentrate on the bread so the bread business opened on Canal Street. Trackside Tacos is now in Leaven’s location at 44 Market Street.

I've eaten here about a half dozen times. The food is good, but very limited menu. i usually order a sandwich. My husband has had burgers and he says they are below average. Ordered wings once and they were burned - we were surprised they would even serve them to us. Homemade desserts are very good. Bread, as you might expect, is excellent. We are usually disappointed in the beer selection. Service is slow. Having said all that, I would still recommend stopping in to see for yourself. Cool atmosphere, small, clean, and friendly staff. I've had their chicken sandwich several times and it is always excellent. Homemade side dishes are very good too - they have the standard fries, but offer some more unique salad sides.

We stopped in for breakfast and found out it was the one Sunday a month they do all you can eat French Toast for $5. They use home made Adama bread and give you a big two slice portion. It was very good but I would have preferred it had a little more egg batter on it before cooking. Looking forward to go in and try the pretzels and other stuff on the menu.

Cool that they make their own bread - which is tasty. Not a diverse menu and not a typical pub menu. Got sandwich to go. Chips were soggy when I got home. Yuck. Sandwich was good, but not awesome.
