You have to Park and walk a long ways to get to the water or beach area. Not convenient, and if you have kids and a lot of stuff, or the elderly with you, it's a hassle. I would rather go someplace else.

I love going to Clough State Park. It's a fun place to walk. We often bring our dogs there (supposed to be on leash only). There a big dam with a paved road that you can walk atop. It's fun.

Clough state park: Swimming, Hunting, ATV, Dirt bikes, miles of dirt roads and nice fishing spots. Also an area where you pay to get into the Lake part for family and swimming fun.
